Joan Skinner
Joan Skinner pioneered release work in the United States some fourty years ago having been a member of the Martha Graham and Cunningham dance companies. The principles of the Skinner Releasing Technique now inform the work of many contemporary dancers. This DVD-Rom is a record of an international residency conducted by Joan Skinner in the Greenwich Dance Agency, London, where she showed her technique of integrating the mind/body complex in the art of dancing.
