"A taula!"("Food is ready!)
A theatre production that centres on the investigation of everyday household objects; that focuses on domestic routines: specifically the dining room. Objects packed with memories, retain essential movements of those that have manipulated them and are unique witnesses of a human existence. Objects that convey that which we keep silent, avoid, hide.
The passive and submissive everyday object takes the protagonist role. And the manipulator is now at its service.
This residence will allow us to finish the production period of the performance "A taula!"initiated last February. The daily work will consist on a review of the different materials that have taken part in the process and the production of an audiovisual documentation of the piece.
The team participating in the artistic residence are the following players and makers: Xavier Bobés (player and object manipulator whose contribution to the process is the writing and global direction of the piece); Julià Carboneras (player whose contribution to the process is the music and technology); Sandrine Veyry (player whose contribution to the process is the construction of the set and atrezzo as well as the photographic work); Daniel Benito (player and stage hand); Eric de Sarria (consultant in the direction of actors, in the manipulation and dramaturgy of the piece).
