Solo Olivia (Solo Olivia) is part of the project begun by Leo Castro in 2008, consisting so far of Amadou (2008) and Miniatures (2010). With this residency and a new performance proposal, she is starting on the third phase of research into the objectives she has set herself, with the aim of presenting a second solo piece.
The idea is to explore possibilities of composition and live interplay between action, the recording of this action, image, words, real space and projected space. The project takes up certain themes of exploration again: how and from where different tools of communication and construction such as the body, words, space and the video camera interrelate and what surroundings they suggest, as viewpoints building a live landscape of identity. The video camera will be her tool for physical exploration and for construction of the space and action.
