(Workshop )
L'animal a l'esquena (Celrà)
From 08/09/2014 to 12/09/2014
Mal Pelo
Pep Ramis and María Muñoz offer an introduction to the working method they use in their approach to movement and to the idea and practice of pause-silence. From silence to movement through improvisation born of a chain of decisions in which life experiences, our senses and the possibility of imagining all play a part.
We shall spend five days on a specific study of some of the key aspects of how Mal Pelo understand movement and creation: the spine as a central axis, working from the extremities, perception of the architecture of one's own body in space, precision in writing, density and intensity, inhabiting gestures and movement in the present moment. This workshop will attempt to look more deeply into the use of the basic tools with which each of us confronts his or her limits and capacity.

Since Mal Pelo's educational work creates demand for courses both within the country and internationally, L'animal a l'esquena programs this workshop once or sometimes several times a year. Since it was first held in 2001 it has been attended by over 500 pupils.
