Mal Pelo
La esperanza de vida de una liebre/Life Expectancy of a Hare offers a particular perspective on the relationship between a hunter with his territory and his prey. His need to ask himself about the light and shade in a symbolic space, the wood, mirror of his thought and his own route.
A poem composed using texts by Erri de Luca, Mal Pelo and María Zambrano. A suggestive sound space creatied by Fany Thollot in collaboration with the Tunisian singer and composer Alia Sellami and a set built with the involvement of all the performers with lighting by August Viladomat, offer us an evocative journey, a reflection on time and memory.
After the premiere at the last Festival de Tardor de Catalunya Girona/Salt Temporada Alta 2013, Mal Pel held a final residency to continue their research into new details to enrich this new project, which will be performed at the Mercat de les Flors in Barcelona. There will be 10 performances from 30th January to 2nd February and from the 4th to the 9th February.
