L'animal a l'esquena (Celrà)
From 03/02/2014 to 09/02/2014
loscorderos.sc
ULTRAinocencia/ULTRAinnocence investigates the ancestral human impulse to look beyond the material world, to seek the transcendental, the sublime, through belief, religion or art. ULTRAinocencia/ULTRAinnocence dissects one of the most ancient and inherent mechanisms of human beings, their faith, the driving force behind the most imaginable successes in the animal kingdom, the most beautiful and the most horrendous.
loscorderos.sc return to L'animal a l'esquena after a tour which has taken them, during 2012 and 2013, to the Art Stations Foundation in Poznan, Poland, the Centro per la Scena Contemporanea de Bassano del Grappa in Italy, the Centro de Artes Performativas do Algarve in Faro, Portugal and the Hellerau - European Center for the Arts in Dresden, Germany. In these places they have carried out a creation process on the road, as part of the European project modul-dance.
Before performing their latest piece of work at the Mercat de les Flors in Barceloona from 14th to 23rd February, the company loscorderos.sc, who have close ties to L'animal a l'esquena, especially in the creation of this piece, which began in their residency in 2013, pay another visit to Celrà to put the finishing touches to their production.
