Thomas Hauert, Group La Bolsa
( Thomas Hauert, Cecilia Colacrai, Mireia de Querol, Iris Heitzinger, Natalia Jiménez Gallardo, Xavi Moreno, Federica Porello, Anna Rubirola )
This project grew from a desire of Thomas Hauert and the Group la Bolsa to create a piece together. The Group la Bolsa (Cecilia Colacrai, Mireia de Querol, Iris Heitzinger, Natalia Jiménez Gallardo, Xavi Moreno, Federica Porello y Anna Rubirola) suggested to Thomas that he bring to the project his specific research into movement, for which the artists offer a framework. Out of the meeting of the two came La medida del desorden/The Measure of Disorder.
La Medida del Desorden is a dance piece focussing on the body and mind and their complex capacity for alertness, flexibility and adaptation, while new situations are constantly arising in real time.
It is a piece that puts on stage an invented organism, a organism that, like society and biological systems, is continually reorganising and reinventing itself, feeding off individual initiatives. Its starting point is the concept “zoom in – zoom out”, to show both the piece and group as a whole, and individuals and details.
The piece is based on scores that attempt in some way to impose order and a necessary framework on disorder. Seeking the Measure of Disorder.
