Loscorderos.sc will begin their project in association with L’animal a l’esquena with this first meeting regarding their new production for 2015.
The idea is to investigate the world of sound, in relation to words and movement, to create a universe parallel to our own, whose only recognisable rules will be those governing sound.
At this first stage, the aim is to seek out and create physical material, as well as textual material related more to sound than meaning. One starting point for this will be work around rhythm, how to work with physical and sound material, both fixed and improvised, based on a rhythmic score as an essential area of research. It is early yet to venture a theme but, as nearly always in the work of loscorderos, it will touch on one of the pathologies that define us as humans and mark us out from other living beings.
