The build up of thoughts plays havoc with the cobblestones. People scream silently as two individuals pit their strength to create imaginary constructs piling up in their memory. Intertwined, they offer themselves to each other. They seek, smell, listen to each other and, tensing, begin to dance.
Menar: to accompany or guide a group of people or animals from one place to another, transported by their own bodies.
Menar is the title of Roser Tutusaus and Joan Català’s process of performance research. It is an embryo in which to mingle ideas, shapes and ways developed by them both, with a view to turning into a street performance.
It will be performed for the first time in 2016 thanks to the help and support of El Graner, Escena Poblenou, Festival Trapezi de Reus, L’animal a l’esquena and the Aula de Teatre i Dansa de Mataró.
