The young Valencian company De Soprano y Arpa (Soprano and Harp) are preparing for their first stage production for an audience of children, to be premiered in May 2017 at the Palau de la Música in Valencia.
Their chief trademarks are live music and the adaptation of orchestral pieces for the harp and soprano voice, taking these to unconventional spaces and to all kinds of audiences.
With this project Quiteria Muñoz, soprano, and Úrsula Segarra, on harp, make the jump into the performance arts through the gaze of an audience of children, spontaneous and innocent, understanding that it is only possible to glimpse the essence of art by recognising the children in ourselves, looking and listening for the first time. For this they use dance, music, body language, movement and images as tools that can open up new horizons.
