“LLOPS TRISTOS (SAD WOLVES)” takes place in a Museum of Contemporary Art. One of those completely white museums. Various people happen to bump into each other: the assistant director, the director’s secretary, a young man and woman doing a casting for a performance. At first some are working and the others passing by. But gradually they will nearly all end up living in the Museum, one literally and others in spirit. The white space fills up. But this is because outside everything is growing more and more senseless, emptying.
In this Museum they are getting ready for the great retrospective Art and Canibalism (which will never open). A boy, a wolf-boy, escapes from one of the screens and runs through the rooms of the museum. Like an oracle, he observes everything and some of the characters can relate to him.
The piece combines elements of dance and performance, as well as live music. The text is completely mucked about and made ridiculous by the action. Words gradually lose their power and movement takes over.
Taking part are: Conchi Almeda Joan Miquel Artigues, Ann Perelló, Toni Gelabert and Teo Rayón as actors. Nora Sitges-Sardà / Claudi Bombardó (choreographers), Xesca Salvà (set), Jaume Manresa / Francisco Sitges-Sardà (musicians), Maria Rosselló (assistant director)
