Matrioshka was first born with all her identical bodies inevitably splitting off to feed the great machine. Now we have reached the last body, and matrioshka has become a myth of liminality and vertigo.
What is the next screen? A space is opened to explore the sequence and the consequence, the intersection, the blind spots, the bastard daughters and the silences, to merge the two hemispheres, to reach the time of the plants.
Matrioshka’s mission is giving birth to herself, by conscious cesarean section, at the right momentum of maturity and fertility, now that this civilization has ended.
