Ana’s pieces have been presented abroad in cities such as: Boston, Belgrade, Novi Sad, Bologna, Porto, Leipzig, Dresden, Edinburgh, Bayonne, Almada, Dinan, Douarnenez, Rennes, Brasilia, Timisoara and Warsaw.

She set up Matarile Teatro in 1986, the first contemporary theatre company in Galicia. In 1993 she founded the Teatre Galán, a cradle of contemporary theatre and dance in Galicia. She set up the Compostela International Dance Festival En Pé de Pedra in 1995. This has specific categories to support and publicise the work of new creators. In 2017 she founded saLa Montiel, an (im)permanent space in Santiago de Compostela for creation and temporary exhibitions of the work of emergent creators.
