The book questions the use of new technologies and its interaction in dance. Together with a CD-rom, the work creates a dialogue between body and machine from the point of view of our sensations and the contribution of technology to movement. Thus, it tries to open a way of enriching composition processes, the evolution of the performance space and improvisation strategies.
It contains texts by Florence Corin, Simone Forti, Billy Klüver, Scott deLahunta, Sarah Rubidge, Patricica Kuypers, Miguel Lopez, Grégory Seront, Lawrance Casserley, Johannes Birringer, Patricia Kuypers, Nathalie Fougeras, Antonio Camurri, Barbara Mazzarino, Gualtiero Volpe and Sandrine Chiri.
