Jordi Galí
For the creation of "T" Jordi Galí has decided to impose some simple objects to his bodywork. Objects become, from one side, a transition between the dancer's body and its environment, and in the other it imposes necessary and yet absurd tensions, which become choreographic. "Balance and Opposition, I consider these words as the best definition of 'T' ".
For this project Jordi Galí took as the basis of his work the relation body-object-context in order to develop the link function between man and his environment – the World. The object as a tool has a function with a double sense as, while transforming matter, it implies a certain transformation of the subject. The object means and determinates a specific relationship with the World and thus becomes a powerful media of transforming reality.
Besides the residence at L'animal a l'esquena, there was an "Accueil Studio"at National Choreographic Center of Rilleux-la-Pape (Lyon, France), and a "Démeure Artistique"in Ramdam (place giving support for artistic creation) in Lyon too.
