Erri de Luca
We invite you to a conversation with the Neapolitan writer Erri de Luca in the hall of La Mercè Arts Centre at 8pm on the 18th November 2015.
On the occasion of his visit to Girona for the performance of the piece El quinto invierno/ The Fifth Winter, directed and performed by María Muñoz and Pep Ramis of Mal Pelo at the Festival de Tardor de Catalunya Girona/Salt – Temporada Alta 2015 on the 20th November, Erri de Luca will talk about his relationship with writing, his recent publication “La palabra contraria” (“Contrary Words”) and his literary ideas.
Erri de Luca worked with Mal Pelo on their 2013 creation La esperanza de vida de una liebre/Life Expectancy of a Hare and on the creation of The Fifth Winter.
The conversation has been organised by the Fundación La Ciutat Invisible, the Departament de Flilogia i Comunicació of the Universidad de Girona and L’animal a l’esquena, in collaboration with the bookshop Librería Linguae and the dance group Mal Pelo.
The event will be presented by Giovanni Albertocchi, lecturer in Italian literature at the Universidad de Girona. María Muñoz, Pep Ramis and Felip Ortega will be among those present.
