Jorge Jauregui
Jorge began dancing in 1997. He worked with the collectives Moare and Ikutu in Vitoria, Basque Country. In 2001 Jorge moved to Barcelona, where he participated in several productions by Damián Muñoz Danza. In 2002 he created the performance El rato de José together with Idoia Zabaleta and Germán Jauregui Allue. He moved to Brussels and worked with Jordi Galí and Giovanni Scarcella/Lisa DaBoit. Jorge joined Ultima Vez/WimVandekeybus in 2004 for the revival of Les porteuses de mauvaises nouvelles (2004). Jorge has been member of Ultima Vez for the productions Puur (2005) Spiegel (2006) Menske (2007) and the dance film Here After (2007). At the moment, he plans to make research residences through 2009; also Laura Aris Alvarez has invited him to join the research project Ejercicios de Duelo in the first edition of Pasantías 08.
