Eduard Fernández
Catalan actor who was born in Barcelona. He has been working in cinema and theatre, reason why he is one of the most-known and awarded actor in Spain. He has an extense resume in which we can find any kind of roles he has played. He has been a loser ("Smoking room" of Julio Wallovits and Roger Gual), a social climber ("El método" of Marcelo Piñeyro) a shy antihero (Sebastián Copons in "Alatriste" of Agustín Díaz Yanes) a worrying and modern Faust ("Fausto 5.0" of La Fura dels Baus and Isidro Ortiz) or a character with an absolutely lack of emotion ("En la Ciudad" and "Ficció" of Cesc Gay).

In the beginning, his career has been developed with three important theatre companies: Els Joglars, La Fura dels Baus o Lluís Pasqual, but once he played his applauded role in "Los lobos de Washington" (directed by Mariano Barroso) he started working with the most famous directors in Spain, like Bigas Luna or Fernando Trueba.

His most important last works have been "3 días con la familia", of Mar Coll and not yet opened movies like "Biutiful" of Alejandro González Iñárritu and "La Mosquitera" of Agustí Vila.

Eduard has been prize-winner with two Goya Awards ("Fausto 5.0" i "En la ciudad"), two "Biznagas" for the Best Actor in "Hormigas en la boca" and "3 días con la familia" (Festival de Cine Español de Málaga) and one MAX Theatral Award for the Best Main Character in "Hamlet"(directed by Lluís Pasqual).
