Ramón first came into contact with the Performance Arts in university theatre groups, to which he devoted a large part of his time until he finished his studies in 1981.
Since then he has worked professionally in lighting, mainly stage lighting for independent, socially committed theatre and dance groups, favouring innovative, multi-disciplinary initiatives enriched by the search for their own language. He has been very actively involved in the creative process of the performances.
Throughout his career, as well as taking part in large-scale productions, he has also made forays into exhibition and architectural lighting.
Alongside his work in lighting, he is also a teacher and technical director, both for performance companies and for festivals and other projects. He has worked at numerous festivals and events around the world.
