Txalo trained as an audiovisual artist in Santiago de Chile and Barcelona, where she has lived and worked since 1997. Videoartist, performer, stage director and cultural activist, in recent years she has specialised in audiovisual creation for the live arts, working with mobile devices applied to video art and the creation of immersive stage devices.
Since 2007 she has been a member of FFF, the theatre company directed by Roger Bernat. She works regularly with the performer Sonia Gómez and has also collaborated with, among others, the Mexican documentary company Lagartijas tiradas al Sol, theatre director Lidia González Zoilo and choreographer Laida Azkona Goñi.
Her work has been presented at festivals, events and galleries in Spain, Chile, Mexico, Colombia, China, Japan, Italy, Denmark, Brazil and Argentina.
