(Pamplona, 1981)
Laida trained as a dancer and choreographer in Pamplona, the UK, Austria and New York. She works as a dancer as well as directing her own performance projects, with a special interest in movement.
In recent years she has worked with the companies Wee/ Scavetta Company (Oslo), In this Section - Juschka Weigel (Berlín), Sens Production – Noemí Lafrance (New York)?and Cia. Bebeto Cidra (Barcelona), among others. Her two most recent individual creations are Mu-To (digging a tunnel to China) and Ciento Volando. Her latest piece to have been premiered is Títulos para una aproximación al ruido.
Laida is also artistic director of the Festival Immediacones.
