Born in Portugalete, she began dancing in the traditional dance and music group Elai-Alai in La Villa. She trained in classical dance with Ana Rosa Tercero and in contemporary dance with Matxalen Bilbao. After qualifying as a PE teacher she decided to continue with dance, entering the Escuela Profesional de Danza de Burgos, where she received a grant for her final year from the Diputación Foral de Bizkaia to compete her studies in contemporary dance.
She has learnt her craft from teachers and choreographers in the Basque Country and dance companies all over Europe.
She works as a performer for companies in the Basque Country and Switzerland, among others.
