El Canto de la Cabra
In January 2009 Elisa Gálvez and Juan Úbeda, after sixteen years creating and directing a space for contemporary performance arts and its new languages, left Madrid and settled in a little village in Ávila where they carried on developing their artistic work.
This has taken them gradually towards ever more vague and unclassifiable worlds. Performance without fiction, time as matter and matter as a reason for time to begin, performance time, impossible time, the time of things on the verge of collapse, that run the risk of not coming out again.
Gota a Gota, a project that is continuing thanks to the support of L’animal, is their most radical experiment so far.
Recent work: rece años sin aceitunas / Tierra pisada, por donde se anda, camino / El quinto invierno / Gota a gota.
