Zoltàn Vakulya
Zoltan is a dancer and choreographer based in Belgium. He was born in Budapest in 1986. He graduated as a dancer from SEAD (Austria) in 2011, after studying dance and choreography at BKTF (Budapest).
As a dancer/performer/collaborator, he has worked with choreographers/composers/visual artists such as: Kendell Geers, David Zambrano, Hod Adrienn, Octavio Rumbaou, Benjam Vandewalle, Radouan Mrziga, Georgia Vardarou, Mal Pelo.
Since 2011 he has performed both on and off stage in pieces such as PAUSE (2012), OneTwoThreeOneTwo (2015), Together Alone (2016), It's time (2017), Etudes on machines (2018), which he has presented in Europe, the USA, Brazil, South Korea and Taiwan.
Recently he has begun to work with the University of Shih Chien (Taipei), as a guest lecturer giving seasons of workshops to new students of media design.
He worked with Mal Pelo on the creation of On Goldberg Variations/Variatons and the following projects Inventions and Highlands.
