Mónica Lavandera is the founder and creator of the firm Lavandera, based in the Basque Country since 2006. From the start, Mónica has worked in the world of fashion, with the aim of developing new ways of dressing and understanding dress. All this is backed up by a great enthusiasm for research and innovation. She works in the present towards the future, avoiding reminiscence of the past. She complements her work as a fashion designer with the more artistic creation of wardrobes for works of theatre and dance. Her academic training in Sculpture will bring a fascinating vision to her work designing the costumes for this piece of dance.
