Tanit Cobas
La Coruña, 1995. Began her studies in classical dance at the Conservatorio Profesional de La Coruña. Passionate about movement and physical limits, she moved to Barcelona at the age of 18 to study at the Conservatorio Profesional de Danza, specialising in Contemporary Dance, and at the Conservatorioi Superior de Danza, specialising in Choreography and Performance. After graduating, she joined the youth company IT Dansa under the artistic direction of Catherine Allard, where she performed, both at home and abroad, pieces by Akram Khan, Ohad Naharin, Alexander Ekman, Jiri Kylian and Lorena Nogal.
She is currently a performer, writer and multi-disciplinary artist working with different companies and artists such as Paloma Munõz’ Siberia, Iron Skulls, Ana Borrosa, La Veronal, Dua Lipa, Manos O and Javier Guerrero. She recently began a degree in Translation and Interpreting at the Universidad Abierta de Catalonia (UOC).
