Farrés Brothers resume a project which they tried to complete three years ago. It’s a visual piece of theatre of objects, with live music, about the need for protection. When they first began to discuss it, around 2018, no one could have imagined that at a moment’s notice we would find ourselves shut away at home to keep ourselves safe from an invisible threat…
This project is driven by three things:
Jordi Palet and Toni Ubach’s desire to work together
A shared grief
and
Two laboratories with Xavier Bobés and one with Pablo Messiez at the Festival IF and in the workshop of the Sala Beckett.

With MURMUT they hope to achieve three objectives:
To combine our creative worlds, that of objects and that of music, in a performance.
To discuss the need to feel safe, contrasted with the constant sense of insecurity
and
3. To do this using objects and sound as a means of theatrical expression, with words as further material.
