Panorámica is a collective research and creation project in dance that promotes the use of imagination on stage as a tool to stimulate reflection, experiment and discussion.

The project brings together various collaborators from different artistic fields and is based on the search for an empty space to act as a canvass, so as later to construct landscapes and architecture that provide an alternative to the current reality. From the body, movement, music, audiovisual material and writing, it will generate layers to define places for invention.

I am especially attracted to the idea of approaching EMPTINESS as a way of confronting the excess of information we now have and the power of manipulation this exercises without our hardly noticing. I also like the concept of the LINE as a basic element that is present in all artistic fields, as well as its use to create complicities and the possibility of a break with power.

Empty of movement,
allow traces and resonances to remain and
fill again from here.
Listen to emptiness.
Not the first intuition, but the second.
Do nothing, wait,
put yourself in a different place from usual,
surprise yourself.
Choosing the opposite is no use, it’s still a guideline.
We cannot not think,
we don’t want individual capsules, they are no good to us.
The rule is to empty of movement.
