The show La Cordero y su Ejército/The Lamb and its Army is based on ideas from the book of the Apocalypse, inspired by its symbolism and final concept, and concluding that it understands the hecatombe as the revelation of a new hope.
In ancient Judaism the world is seen as linear, from creation to the end of days (the Final Judgement). After this, comes spiritual transformation. A new era in a radically changed world. An epic spirit, strength and vitality are revived in the defiant struggle against physical, mental and emotional stagnation.

In La Cordero y su Ejército, Sol Pico, like an archetypal warrior, confronts its own abyss, using its weapons to destroy its own reflection, shedding itself, letting go of everything it has learnt in a ritual of symbolic death. Transfigured.

So the world does not end, it reaches the limit of its potential through dispossession. What remains, the essential part, contains the universe. Fleeing the vertigo of our times to face the precipice of the horror of emptiness, driven by this society that never lets us stop. Breathing, becoming aware, allowing ourselves to begin again as new beings. An expectation open to everyone.
