PIED PIPERS is a new street theatre project by LosInformalls, based on two key concepts: on the one hand, the story of the piper of Hamlyn, not as a story of revenge, but as the representation of a society captured and transformed by a powerful, almost magical sound. On the other hand, the concept of the melting pot, a metaphor for how different cultures, identities and elements mingle to create something new, but without any intention to achieve harmony. In this project, the mixture does not seek balance; it is a clash between forces that turns the space into something unpredictable.

Losinformalls, a company born in the street and known for mixing dance, humour, risk and provocation, is returning to its roots. After presenting two shows on stage, the desire to reconnect with the public space from a different angle is clear.

In PIED PIPERS, three performers transform the urban landscape into a stage, inviting the public to an impromptu party. Through dance, live music and interaction with their surroundings, the audience become an active part of the experience. The performance celebrates chaos, energy and spontaneity, seeking, rather than perfection, connection with the bodies and instincts of all those involved. As for the spaces, the project is intended for symbolic places in the cities where it is presented, places with a definite collective memory.
